Gamma Yachts Deliver 22-meter Motoryacht "Libertas"

The pocket-yacht company Gamma Yachts has delivered the third Gamma 22-meter motoryacht "Libertas" to her owner. She is perhaps one of the more famous yachts because of who her owner is. The Libertas has gone to owner Andrea Bocelli, yes the famed Italian opera singer. Design is in its entirety by Dutch design and naval architect specialist Vripack. The 22-meter yacht is easily recognizable with her striking and vibrant metallic electric blue hull contrasted on a white superstructure. Gamma Yachts CEO Guido Bonandrini comments, “The main elements of the Gamma 20 that are dictated to a client are the hull and superstructure shape; almost all other aspects can be adapted to the client’s tastes. The owner of Libertas took the customization even further than previous Gamma 20 customers.”

Andrea Bocelli comments, “I love the way space has been arranged so that our large extended family can be together, enjoying closeness and intimacy, while at the same time respecting everybody’s privacy. Cosiness, warm materials, safety, low noise levels and comfort: these were my needs, and they have been fully met. I needed a solid, safe and comfortable boat, and I am very happy with my choice for Gamma 20.” Libertas is not a sprinter but she attains decent economy with a range stretching out to about 1,270 nautical miles. The interior is current and to-date, with the usage of materials like Oak on the floors and more Oak for the paneling done in a matte finish. Various levels of tans and browns were used throughout the interior. Libertas is capable of sleep up to nine guests.
