The Benetti Classic 120' to Debut at 2009 Miami Show

"Gladiatore", hull number 15 of the Benetti Classic 120’, is the result of the collaboration between the shipyard and the owners, a young couple from Mexico. The artistic propensity of the lady owner, painter and fashion designer, is evident in the remarkable contrast between the natural tones of beige and brown chosen for all the materials and the furniture, along with the large and the bright use of brilliants pillows of different sizes, colors, refined with marabu or with precious braids.

The style, modern and sober, is perceivable in every single detail: in the linear and squared shapes of the furniture and the sinks, laid on limestone sand marble bases; in the squared light spots selected for the interiors; in the exterior areas where the geometrical shapes are underlined thanks to the light which run parallel in lines from stern to bow. Unique exception to the strictness of the squared shapes, the round sofa which welcome the guests at the entrance of the Main Saloon.

The owner, who previously owned an Azimut Leonardo, has presented again on his new Benetti many original solutions which he had found useful and, in particular, the possibility to lower all the outside tables to create wide sunbathing areas. On the Upper Deck a big central sofa which can be easily open to be changed into a big kingsize bad to transform the entire area in a large suite with view on the ocean, underlines the versatility of Gladiatore.

On the Upper deck the general harmony is pointed out by the teak floor which includes also the wheelhouse. Finally, the blue exterior lights which light up the name on the stern contribute dramatically to create a nice chromatic effect.
