I'm guessing this is a Huckins, but I'm not really up-to-speed on their boats. Spotted in Port Everglades...

"Fairmaiden" was northbound under the 17th Street Causeway bridge. You have to admit, there's something to be said about classic designs... and modern electronics! :)

    OK... back to big boats.

Docked regularly at the Ft. Lauderdale City Docks, when she's not on charter or at the owner's resort in South America, this is "Chantal Ma Vie". That militant looking inflatable off her port stern is the most fun you've ever had in big water.

I don't need to tell you where this Christensen is docked. If there is *one* building that is synonymous with Ft. Lauderdale...

    This is the 140' Daydream...

Looking west over Daydream's stern, you can see the Marriott across the intracoastal...

Docked just behind Daydream was this 100' Hatteras "Freedom", the second time we would see this name and an appropriate name for a yacht. As one of our fellow YachtForums members states in his signature... "that's what a yacht is... freedom". :)

At Bahia Mar's north side docks, this is the 82' Horizon "Lady Bull".

This model is certainly Lazzara's curviest centerfold, but with the flag blue hull, it looks even better...

Like I said, the places I took these pics are going to be random in order. Sorry, just don't have time to correlate them, but they are in alphabetical order.

This is "Lady Breanna", a 112' Ferretti at Pier 66's waterway cafe. I don't know about you, but I like a boat with lot of freeboard and low-profile superstructure. Notice the arch is incorporated into the original mold. It's not an add-on. That's some serious tooling!

Across the canal from Pier 66's Waterway Cafe is this 103' Maiora "Sashay", built in 1999.

Here Sashay is seen from the bow. One of my pet-peeves, is when "blacked-out" sections of the deck-housing give the appearance of windows, when in fact... they are not. Give me windows, full length and life size... or I'm buying another boat! Half the reason for being onboard is to enjoy the view! Otherwise, she has some of the sexiest lines afloat. (disclaimer: with the exception of my passenger) :D

Just to mix things up a bit, if you're onboard this boat... you're probably a tourist. ;)

Here's a line of yachts that don't receive nearly enough press. Neptunus is building some outstanding boats. We're beginning to see alot more of them around. This is "Paramour", northbound under the 17th Street Causeway bridge.

The Bannenberg designed, 98' Oceanfast "Gazelle" has taken up residence at Pier 66 and is one of the reasons I remain an enthusiast. How can you NOT observe this boat without infinate astonishment and a child-like curiosity.

The perfect picture? It's as if the building and the boat were equally inspired.

Another angle... or, second chance. ;) The tender is as long, as the beam is wide on this PJ...
