    Check out our 5 minute cruise down the Ft Lauderdale New River from Bradfords Marine to Bahia Mar. What a nice day it was for a boat ride in the mist of a brutal February Florida winter : )

    I was thinking the same thing, I also liked the two sea chests inboard of the engines, I don't know who built that boat...but they did their homework.

    Now, if we could get crew to work that fast when docking it would be nice...excellent video, lovely Yacht. Nice to see so many Yachts on the upper river, big change since my last visit.

    It's been near over 25 years since I've been in the New river. I met the Jungle Queen at that same point (Mini FL) on my last delivery out of there. I noticed a second tour boat I did not know about.
    Amazing the Queen still is there and looks good (Same boat?).
    I remember another video a while back taping a similar exit.
    Showing my age a bit, those tuge were a wet dream when I was delivering 60 & 90s to Cable and Jackson yards. Lauderdale yard (east side of I95) had covered slips, dock draw bridge and an elevator when I was last on those waters. I visited that yard 10 years ago (by land, hy98) and saw a new yard with travel lift and new buildings.
    I guess that was the old Broward basin still empty just to the east of that.

    Many years ago we came up the New River in our sailboat when we came around a turn and one of those monsters was coming down river right at us. No warning, nothing on the radio, luckily there was an empty space on the side that we managed to slide into. It was not a fun experience.

    That's a Trinity yacht for those wondering. A major refit was just completed. That engine room had been half way submerged on a Dockwise trip a few years back in the middle of the Atlantic when an AC cooling line burst and flooded the ER up to filling the gear boxes with sea water and spilling into the control room. The vessel was sold shortly afterwards around the 2013 FLIBS time and she went straight to the ship yard. The new owners then poured major Love into her. The gear boxes where rebuilt, new gens, new Quantum hydraulic system, new electric switch board, every thing you could had done been done to her and then some. The interior and wheel house as well, nothing left un touched. The video is her re launch into the world after a year and 1/2 almost of ship yard time.

    Including the AC water line I hope.
    BTW, thought DockWise was a FP floating barge. Contained hulls inside are dry?

    Dockwise uses the ships ballast pumps to supply the yachts A.C. cooling water and unless you have a butterfly valve on your end to regulate the flow than your either going to blow your condensers out or raw water plumbing on the low pressure side.
    more than a few vessels have flooded E.R.s on Dock wise but the alarms and or crew (lone rider) diligence had saved the day. Think of it more like sinking your center console on its trailer by leaving the plug in and turning the bilge pumps off during rainy season.

    Wow. There an amazing amount of very big boats on that river. Very entertaining. I need to hire a captain so that I could just stare!
