I am looking for a Chris Craft cruiser, at least 40 foot, from the years 1949-1958. Ideally a Corsair, Conqueror or Buccaneer, but also other models with a flybridge may be of interest.

The condition must be good (!), especially the hull, and as much as possible in original design.

Please send some photos with a brief description.

    Regards,

    Per Q

    1958 55' Chris Craft Conqueror

I currently live on an AMAZING 1958 55' Chris Craft Conqueror that is all original EXCEPT the countertops in 3 heads and galley. The countertops were redone in Corian with seamless sinks and the shower, floor, and entire shower enclosure as well. Its all Mahogany with 3 staterooms,3 heads, twin diesels,20 KW generator, new 10 cu ft refrigerator, new hard top over helm about to be installed, new wiring, new switches, about 15 coats of epoxy on teak decks.Basically the boat is all original and in such beautiful condition. We sold our house and everything we own, moved onto our boat, and the plan is to live on it for 3 years, save money, then sell it and move to Europe with our son who is 5 right now.We would be open to selling it earlier than 3 years for.the right price. All the cabin doors have the anchors in them, all hardware on every door, drawer, and cupboards is original. No mahogany has been painted over with the exception of part of the ceiling in between beams in the galley just to add some lightness.Otherwise its entirely mahogany. We routinely take her out and she runs like a dream.Engines only have 2100 original hours each. There were only 4 of these boats made in 1958 and this is the ONLY SURVIVING 1958 55' CHRIS CRAFT CONQUEROR.THIS WAS THE LAST YEAR OF THE 55' CONQUEROR BECAUSE THEY THEN WENT TO 40' CONQUERORS,MAX LENGTH.I will send you some photos if you send me yo email. My phone # REMOVED!

    Hello Teri,

I’m looking forward to see the photos. My plan is to visit the U.S. later in September/October to look closer at some chosen vessels and your's probably will be one of these. You'll find my email on YachtForums, see my public profile.

    Regards, Per

    Teri,

I have a 1958, 42 ft. Connie that come out of the water next week to rebed the portside shaft stuffing box. Since this now involves major destruction of the already remodelled master head, we want to see what it looked like originally before we start reconstruction. Do you have any pictures that would help?

    Debra

    Hi,
I came across a posting on this site and you mentioned that you might be selling your Conqueror.
I'm not sure if this is an old listing and you have sold it or not. If you haven't, Id be interested in talking with you about it.
I'm in the market for a 50' and have been looking for a 40's -50's year range.
    Please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Todd
