I have a 1988 Carver Santego 2757 and both window seals along the sides are leaking, as well as both hatches. Can anyone give me any tips on how to reseal, where to buy replacement weather stripping, etc? I don't know if I should just run a bead of silicone, look for new parts,or...
    Any help would be welcome
    Thanks

I have the same problem with my 1988 Santego. I just bought the boat this spring and it's in need of a lot of repair. The marina staff suggested the side windows need to be removed and both surfaces sanded for a tighter fit, and that the reinstall requires precise fitting. They also suggested that hatch replacement kits may be ordered. We are not attempting the repair until winter but I will update when we do.

I once had a yard go after leaking windows. What a god-aweful mess they made of the job, Next boat with leaking windows I called a glazier. Nicely done job.

Hatches you can usually find the gasket material from a good marine supplier or the manufacturer of the hatches. Side windows, it depends on the window, but can find them from a good supplier as well. Try calling Carver as they might point you in the right direction. Whose stamp is on the side window glass?
