Generator won't run with engines on

    If they're tide seals, take something really thin and flat and shove it between the seal and shaft and run it around the entire circumference of the shaft. Sometimes a piece of grit gets in there. The Atlantis card would work, if you cut a piece that's 3/8" wide lololol

    I don't think they are tide seals, they are blue and have 2 hoses. The dripless is leaking even at dock. I got it to stop now by twisting it slightly and holding it in that position with a rope.

    Hopefully, spare seals are ready to be used.
    If not, try to rinse the sand & silt away from the seal area and cover them from splaying water thru the engine room.

    They still need to be rinsed and maybe cleaned with a fine machine paper. A lil more tension may be applied by sliding the stainless collar down just a bit more.

    Read your manuals before digging into them more than cleaning.

    Stay out of the sand and silt.

    Factory option was Tides Marine with spare seals standard.

    Thanks Pac Blue, will look around, but haven't seen them. It's not leaking now so kind of want to wait till we get back to civilization to deal with it.
