Does anybody know who has European key blanks? My vessel has a Mauer lock cylinder in the door, and I can't seem to find any locksmiths in Cocoa area that has blanks. The manufacturer in the Netherlands only sells to businesses.

    The information from Mauer was:
"There they [the locksmith) can probably help you with the duplication of the (short; 3 pins) keys.
These are Keys in S1 profile with the length 18.50mm.

When these kind of company’s can not help you, it is also possible to get in contact with the dealer in your region.
This is the firm: Caribbean Fasteners Curacao in Curaçao. e-mail: [Deleted]

Curaçao???? Curaçao is THE DEALER for the USA region???? LOL

In advance, thanks for the help.

The Brassworks in Lauderdale might be able to help ... not sure if they deal with Mauer, but they have high quality European doorsets

My lock smith here in jax has a book fatter than the largest phone book I've ever picked up. It it, she found a source for old Grand Banks original keys.
Oh, the lock sets were made in London.
Only needed 2. Had a min order of 20 that concerned me at first. Word of mouth went down the docks, only have 5 blanks left. My money has come back very well.
You may be talking to somebody who can't get it in gear.

Gayle was most helpful. Talk about customer service. She did her best to help out; researched the blank, and offered to send a blank to me via USPS so the local locksmith could duplicate. It was a totally awesome experience.
