My grandfather, Louis Sherwood Griffing Sr. owned a large Trumpy over 100 feet and kept it in Hartford Ct on the Connecticut river. It was called Troubadour. This would have been in the mid thirties. I am looking for info on the boat. I have pics with my grandfather, grand mother ,father and others on board. Anyone know of the boat? Thank you for any help. Barry Griffing.

The boat could also have been another brand like an Elco. I'm not sure of the brand. I will post a picture.

I thought the gas engines in a 92' was pretty interesting myself.

    Likely a misspelling of Mathis.

Troubador is likely gone for many years. Her last known (second) owner was in 1971 - Sabine Towing and Trans Co. She was then named "Ilderim". Webb Jay was her first owner.

I'm sure your correct, but it was of humorist note.
