So I leave town for 7 days and when I came back somebody or something had defecated on the back rest.
Probably a bird or possible an iguana.
After cleaning up good with soap and water there was still red "stuff" left. Tried denatured alcohol, no cigar. Don't want to try real heavy stuff before I talk to experts and/or an upholstery shop.
The red "stuff" is probably from red berries, which grows on a bush in my back yard.
Mixed with stomach acids it seems to have permanently stained the plastic or whatever the upholstery is made from.
    Any idea for cleaning/bleaching/removal?

Berrie Juice processed and decorating back rest for cockpit settees.

It will go away on it's own over time. There is no cleaner harsh or otherwise that will remove it. What will, is if you can get the seat cushion in direct sunlight for a day it will disappear......otherwise it will be gone on it's own in about a month.

My experience parallels CaptJ's post. If you need the poo-poo to go bye-bye right now, try dabbing a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and ammonia on the stain. Test a small, discrete section before tackling the whole bolster.

Just as predicted above, the red poo-poo stains are gone for good.

Yeah over the years I had a number of stains of outside vinyl from bird s--t to kids markers or crayons or whatever clueless best buddies parents wannabes give their little princes and princesses ... :)

Time and sun exposure as always worked

Now, if someone could tell me why there as been a rash of random red staining popping up on new white vinyl in the past two or three years that would be great. It a an epidemic in south FL

If it is the pink mold it has been on white vinyls for decades. Google and you will find a few cures...
