Appears to me to be a Pershing 88. Very similar to the all black one I did an owners trip on a few weeks back, purely as a free lance gig. Many local Ft Lauderdale members will know which one I'm referring to. Stunning vessel. Has a little trouble keeping Captains though.

On second look, might be her slightly bigger sister.

The golden yacht looks like a Sunseeker or 72 to me. The other yacht is a Palmer Johnson. I am sure it is not photoshop. Actually you will find out that Palmer Johnson built 2yachts with that colour sheme called Kalilah.

Many thanks for your answer, I appreciate a lot !

I have another question ! Why some motor yachts have a mast (with navigation light I guess) mounted on the foredeck whilst some yacht (same size or bigger) did not have this ? It's mandatory ??

I really don't understand, for instance, 85 meters SOLANDGE (Lurssen) don't have this mast whereas a quite same vessel in size, 80 meters CHOPI CHOPI (CRN) have this mast at the bow..!

I would be grateful if you could explain me in detail !

Yachts over 50 meters must have this additional forward navlight, but some have it on a retractable mast. Just to look good or for reasons like a helipad.

Thank you, so you have to expand the foredeck mast when you are underway / At anchor during the night on a +50m yacht ?

Some have it on a retractable mast and some (+50m) did not have this at all ?? SAVANNAH for example, where is the mast ? Maybe no mast and the light are near the radar and TV equipment on top of the vessel.?

If you look at more pictures of Savannah you will see the mast.

In fact !! However on several pictures the mast is really nicely hidden ! (under the deck?)

Being that these appendages are considered ugly by the (stylists) the vast majority are of the telescoping type so that when the vessel isn't underway steaming the fwd. mast is retracted semi flush to the fore deck level as to not blemish the lines of the vessel. I've been involved with both hydraulically & electrically operated telescoping masts that were nightmares to maintain so hopefully the newer designs are better engineered to handle the loads and abuse that they take up there in a heavy sea way.
