| Racing Boats cemetery
I am currently spending pretty much time in Italy because We are building a new Yacht there. During this stressful time I had the chance to meet a driver of racing boats. According his stories he used to be very famous in his era and he was designing and building the boats by himshelf. He currently owns a small shipyard in Italy and he is building Small Yachts capable of 75+ knots.
One day he took me to a place where the boats he raced with are kept
It was a really amazing time because he walked me around on these nice boats talking to me about his memories. The same time it was very sad time because it was the first time I was in a boat cemetery !!!!

I recognise the Fresh and Clean livery...The 1990 / 91 41 foot Michael Peters designed, CUV built one had two seperate canopies though so its not that one...so I'm still working on it.

His original studies had to do with aero dynamics engineering (before get involved with races) and he applies some of the aero industry design prnciples in the Yachts he currently designs. He invited me in a trial with a 74 footer and we reached the top speed of 93 knots.

When are you going to put us out of our misery Comship ?
I'd swear the Clean & Fresh cat is a CUV, but I cant remember the Italian designer of these before Michael Peters did a few. The driver would have most likely been A. Spelta, who pilotted Clean and Fresh late '80s and early '90s in Class 1. Most likely Issotta Fraschini engines. Its too early a design for Nicolini Offshore involvement I think.
The current hull shown I have no idea about, shades of Buzzi, maybe Abbate, but I'm stumped
I'd love to know though.

Possibly Cougar? If I remember correctly, they built a series of cats out of aluminum. Bob Kaiser campaigned one here in the U.S., under the Kaiser/Gallagher Systems name.

Yep! Rows & rows of rivets... the old Cougars.
The original Cougars were wood. In a stuff, they turned to splinters.
