Thanks for posting the pictures; although you may not want to reveal the identity of the ship, which we all respect, can you give us some more information as to where she is built and what type of a vsl she is? Also, it would be very interesting to learn more about the equipment and capacities.

She is a 35,000 dwt bulk carrier built in China.

You, being in the business.... how does the Chinese stuff rate relative to the other builds out there? Their machinery & layouts look pretty sharp.

We now have 12 of these vessels, all built in China, and are currently just starting a newbuilding program for 6 more 50,000 tonners. We have had very good experience with the 35,000 tonners and are building the 50,000 tonners in China as well. Similar to having a Build Engineer on the yacht side of the business, we have our own Engineers and Technical Superintendants on site at the yard during the complete construction process. We also have strict maintenance programs once we take delivery.
