Happy Birthday Carl! I hope it's a good one.
At least you have Sunday to recover. |

happy birthday Carl
May you always have walls for the winds,
a roof for the rain, tea beside the fire,
laughter to cheer you, those you love near you,
and all your heart might desire.

Carl,
Many happy returns. We both share birthdays today with Henry Ford, Julius Caesar, Arnold Schwatzenburger (I'll be back), and Casey Stengel to name a few.
VERY kindest regards, Peter

Too many candles for a cake - needed a fire permit. |

A hearty and heartbroken thank you to everyone. The only present I really wanted was to spend a little time with the girl I was going to marry, but we broke up 2 weeks ago and have since been trying to piece things back together. Last night, on my birthday, she told me she was spending the evening packing to take her daughters on a trip. I found out she was on a date with another man last night.
Today, I'm 51 years old and starting life all over again. I've got some healing ahead, so I may be a little aloof for awhile. Sorry.

Just remember my friend, when one door closes another opens. It's a lot harder for a woman your age to find a good man (although fairly easy to find garbage) than it is for a man to find a good woman. Get away from your computer for awhile today, go someplace, just mention to someone that it's your birthday and that you just broke up with your girl. Something tells be you won't be alone for long. Relationships with women are much better in theory than in practice. After 35 years with the same (very good) woman, I'd just get hookers if anything happened. Who need all the baggage they bring to a relationship. Plus it's cheaper and nobody complains if you just roll over and go to sleep (snoring) afterwards. At 51, party hearty. Life is a bowl of cherries. Celebrate!

New opportunities, new chances, new possibilities. Life is one great adventure when you know how to live it. Maybe not easy to see now but behind the clouds there's a sun shining. Always!
Happy birthday!

Happy Belated Birthday, Carl.
It's no coincidence that you'll never see a motorcycle in the parking lots outside psychiatrist's offices. A day out on the road will fix your head.

We will ride again soon Loren, but first I have to find balance on my own two feet before attempting two wheels.
