Well either way, motorsports is pretty closely tied to yachting in the sense that many principles in the sport have the monetary assets to be involved in yachting as well. Just check out the "dates" page in any yacht mag, chances are some race event of one series or another is mentioned in there.

Ahhh, this seems all too familiar...
And as usual it gets warmer and the snow becomes dirty mud....
Are they using salt on your roads as well? Around here they do, but not so much in the northern part of Sweden. I bet it is the car manufacturers sponsoring this so the cars should rust away faster... |

99% of municipalities around Montreal use salt. Where I live (Rosemere) the town decided salt was bad for the environment so they banned it and use sand or stones.

We still use salt here in the UK, but a news report on TV today suggested the UK is running out of salt! We've had one weekend of frost and used all the bleedin' salt!
Bring out those pepper shakers!

Actually, here they are seriously talking of using Sugar instead of salt!
Todays view from the webcam around the corner, a couple of passengers from the Ferry making it through the snow...

We're still clear of snow in London! a lot of snow in the rest of the country though. Bright clear sky, but very very cold, as the sunrises over the Thames!

You got that right!
The first two were taken this afternoon and the 3rd just now (4.30pm)
[Notice the lack of Z4 on the drive ]
For all those that live in sunny regions - this is called snow
For all those that live in snowy regions - this is called crap snow
Well, its not bad snow really, considering I'm almost as far from the sea as you can get in the UK.

You're joking, right?
On the bright side, at least the roads would be "sticky"... traction galore. |

I don´t know if it works as salt, but they say we have to many collisions with wild animals attracted by the salt. Wonder if they will consider sugar less tasty...?
Good picture Chris! I once took a video during a storm at sea, with greenwater on the side windows of the wheelhouse, looked a little like your Wilma picture. But this video stayed on the yacht unfortunately. Otherwise you are normally busy keeping yourself on your feet and not until too late you think of taking pictures or filming... |
