Nice post Fish.
I've been in some rough seas, but not nearly anything like that.
Simply amazing what Mother Nature can muster up for us on short notice.

An awesome "then and now" pic from Toyota's display at the Geneva auto show. Man, I love that new Toyo/Subaru coupe...

Well, Kevin.
Since you presented beautiful, take a look at it's opposite. There must be balance in the world, unfortunately.

I saw that in the Geneva gallery I was viewing as well...

Bentley really ought to tone down the "Hey! We're making vehicles to sell to rappers!" image they've been portraying lately.

...shows a striking resemblance to the comelier Dodge Caliber (!)
Can't think of a greater insult.

We all know how well that worked. That Bentley SUV is seriously ugly. IMHO the whole SUV thing is really played out. They aren't very good at being a car, nor are they very good at being a truck.

Ok, so it'll never win a straight-line race against a supercar... but just look at the way it goes around curves: Subaru BRZ Track Test

I love this car.

Speaking of slow, screechy cars albeit with a zippy appearance, here's a retro Can Am 1966 Montreal event:
