Here's a clip of a Porsche with the engine in the right place for once. Driven by the legend that is Walter Rohrl, Porsche's own in-house god.

One of my favorite Porsche's, that led to one of my favorite models drive wise, as in road feel and sound. 1973 911RS:

A little more affordable and available over a 904.

We race GT3 Cup cars with a few guys that would give their first born for that sitting in their hauler, waiting to come out for track day.... or sitting in their garage for the proverbial weekly diaper rubbing and spit shine.

Nice to see my local lad won his class at Sebring in the 12 hour ALM race. That means we're going to have to get his boat sorted out for the season now he can pay the bill.

Ended up with my younger brothers car today, I'm detailing it for him. 1991 Mercedes 420SEL with under 100,000 kilometers on it. So its not only all original, like she just came off the showroom floor, near perfect. Once I got familiar with it, what an excellent machine considering how old it is. Ignited my search for a late 1980's 560SL today.

We've just let go of a Porsche "with the engine in the right place for once" - it's a 1996. Sitting in a warehouse isn't doing it justice, the racetracks aren't a good fit for the straßenversion, and we don't have the roads in the northeast where it can be used properly.

The other one is in the Porsche museum.

Gorgeous. Any chance you have a hi-res version of that shot? It would make a great wallpaper.

There are over a dozen 996 GT1s floating around which change hands fairly frequently. There are only 2 993 GT1s.

30 cars in total (993 and 996 body styles combined) were assembled.

I just drooled over her sitting with some other toys laying around this warehouse. The building was owned by one of the people with RM Auctions and their restoration shop, so they had a few cars stored. I was looking at a Testarossa.

Its the first weekend of Spring here and the lawn needs mowing. Amazing what inspirations you get to finish it quickly.

Hi,

Mower racing in NZ has recently been in the news with some stock car type manoeuvres and a punch up at the finish line.
