This thread is about the furthest off-track we've ever gotten! But right now, I don't care. I'm preparing the Trinity Mia Elise feature and talking cars is a nice break. Speaking of...
Anyone heard any news about the new NSX? I've had two of 'em and am waiting for this...

True, but winter in Florida means drop-tops are down, babes are in bikinis and the closest thing to snow is a rum-runner. |

That seems to be a real Ferrari Enzo rip-off...
Then I like the idea of a Dodge Challenger revival better; http://www.autoweek.com/news.cms?newsId=103629 |

Yes, there is a resemblence, but no comparison when it comes to being civilized. I had a 308 many years ago. A rare horse with a glass body and Webber carbs. Sold it within 3 months.
A friend has a Testarossa. A friend of his has an F-40 (or 50, don't recall). I drove both of them at a local track. Love to look at 'em. Didn't like driving 'em.
For me, it was like the first time I drove the new Viper (about 2 months ago). I've wanted one since 1996. One ride later, I was cured. The venom has been flushed from my veins.
I must be getting old, because I prefer a refined car over anything else. Don't laugh, but I consider the new Corvette about the best bang for the buck on the road, but with an NSX, you could punish it like a rental car and put it away wet.
Speaking of Vette's... have you seen the new ZR-1??? A 427 pumping out 500hp! That's enough to eliminate gray hairs and make a man's mid-life crisis the best year of his life.

Yes, I like the new Corvette. But as my avatar indicates, my first choice is an AMG... Why not the CL65 with 612hp?

An excellent choice! I watch a German news show in the eves, which indicated Mercedes has been experiencing some quality control issues with some of the new models. I've met some people with new MB's that indicated the same.
True/False?

MB quality problems, yes they had rust on late 90:s models due to the water based paint and some robots that didn´t reach all areas. A lot of replacing doors especially. When the new 211 E-class came there were reports of electrical gremlins, like on the newer BMW:s.
Today I think they have learned the lesson and quality is getting back to where it was when my old W124 was made... |

I did this conversion in the late 80ties and some pics were printed in "Sport Trucks" magazine.
