With all those cars cracking up, does anyone ever finish a race?

I guess that's what happens when you play with Matchbox cars.

Here are some of my heros of yesteryear. Group B cars were killers and were banned. Watch and listen to these monsters.

The Lancia 037 is still at the top of my fantasy list in my Lotto Garage. A good one is now about $600,000 and chump change.

600hp V6 twin turbo in a sub-compact is bloody dangerous in my book.

In the early days of NASCAR (Winston Cup) the drivers used to run like that every night on the back roads of NC & Tenn. with 100 gals. of moonshine in the back and revenuers on their tail. Miss those guys. Nice to see there are still real drivers around.

Excellent. I actually recognize a few of the incidents from other vids, but the compilation as a whole is a new one to me.

Man, I love that sport. I've spent weekends out in a winter forest standing on roadsides a hundred miles from anywhere just to be involved with it.

The Ford RS200 tops mine, followed by a Stratos. Beyond that I'm a devout member of the Cult of Peiades.

Kevin,

The Ford RS200 was built 2 miles from my Grandpa's house and used to test nearby, awesome.

The Stratos was very beautiful but hampered by a rubbish Ferrari Dino engine.

Lancia 037 is held in my heart by spitting a stone at me.

It made an impression.

Unfreakinbelievable! What were the chances!!! Loved the colorful commentary. Pretty sure my dialogue would have been about the same.
