We do a lot of work with a charitable foundation here in the S.E. Michigan area called Eyes on Design through the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology
. Their primary focus is cars, both new, old, and what would be considered "vintage". It's a lot of fun to attend the events, meet other people in the community and support the foundation as a whole. The car shows they put on are really outstanding as well. EyesOn Design
Their fabric is cars as they are in Mi. however once in a while they branch out. This is one I found of particular interest and figured it would be a fun share for my fellow yachties. So I don't sound like an advertisement for them, (which is not my intent) I came across this today:
Not everything that is shown at EyesOn Design has wheels! This year we will be featuring a very special gathering of Vintage Hydroplanes. Here is "Opechee" which is a 1968 Hallett/Kaufman design that will be shown by Hal and Helena LeDuc in honor of famous hydroplane driver Bill Muncey.
Tell me the guy behind the wheel isn't loving life right now!
