Each summer, in Antigua, we used to get the research vessel from the Woods Hole Institute. These guys do really good work into research on whales and dolphins in the Southern Ocean.

There was an ulterior motive to invite the crew to the Yacht Club for drinks. During the summer in Antigua there are very, very few guests around. Half the crew seemed to be made up of some really cute girls who liked to dive.

Entertainment ensued.........................

I wonder whether researchers also interpret the breaching of whales as thanking the resquers

Thanks for that. I had written in several discussions,
Per the home page of your website and one of your foundation’s most basic goals, "may our children and our children’s children experience the magic of Dolphins playing with the ocean waves".
