I'm not sure anyone onboard (or overboard) knew there was an aft, or anything else on that boat.

Agreed. Wonder if alcohol could have been a factor Or, just a bunch of idiots on a boat

I think I watched the rest of their families trying for an hour to set anchor on a 30 footer in 15' of water this afternoon.
