My thread number 4 with designs will look like the other three, some new dream designs, some older that I find in my files and some from our production of fast commuters. There will be a new such model this year again.

But before reality starts on Monday I have found some time and created this 100 meter concept. The idea is mainly to keep her lines more like a yacht than a ship, no big heliport, just a pad on the foredeck. Instead pockets for up to 50-foot tenders each side.

seems like the floors are split-level, i did some rendering like that (other design/split level) some month ago

Yes Jannick, she is split level built around a central atrium. The red guidelines are the forward part and the blue is the aft. This allows for the tender bays to be higher. Also positioned a little more high and dry than usual.

Once again lars you have outdone yourself. This yacht is beautifully designed. But I would think no less coming from you.

Is that segment just above the anchor door openable for observation of anchor set operations?

Hi, Lars.
The 100M concept is simply breathtaking.
I did not notice any huge comm domes, just those slim pillars/poles.
Is this the new trend now, i.e., having the comm domes hidden or with low profiles?

Thanks all, yes Arnie, the domes are totally or partially hidden behind the fins.

They can be leaning out as an F18 with domes in between, or leaning in and be covered by GRP where all antennas can be without domes of their own.

And Codger, these are open mooring stations as the deck above has a helipad.

As a departure from the usual styling of big "Opens", I made this conceptual design. With the lines borrowed from stylish Bugattis from the 1920:s she can match other neo-classic yachts like Nero, Eos and Athena. Here is also a chance to get a nice art deco interior in harmony with the exterior.

In this size there will be two full levels midships, but smaller versions are also possible.

I have now made an entry level model, which at 55 feet will move ahead pretty fast even with a single diesel. Not so practical and spacious as a normal 55-footer, more like a 40 footer inside, but the slender hull will give her a much better mileage combined with a soft ride. Could be our next model...?
