"She looks very small suddenly..."

AMG, to mess up a line from Goldilocks, not too large and not too small, just right!
You really scored a good one with this design.

Since I first posted the 100 m "Teaser", I have been playing with shadow effects in my drawing program (Freehand MX) and this is the result. Not bad, eventhough not exactly the way I wanted all of it, but next time I will use the right tools already from the beginning to get a better result...

I have stored a larger copy here; http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/2161/bild83jb1.png

Shadows in the bow area are really convincing.

D33 SW for fall 2008

In a couple of days the Stockholm Boat Show opens and we will show the four commuters we have today and also this rendering of the next model.

It will be a little more of a family boat, with a large galley up and two cabins below. Still with a pretty low profile, light weight construction with a hull similar to the 29´and 40´which have proven to be fast and economical to run.

She is intended for a single VolvoPenta D6/370 hp, but can be fitted with twin D4/300 if somebody insists...

You are the first to see the coming D33 SideWalk:

Thumbs up

All the best with the show.
The more often I look at these the more sense that they make.
Any chance that the radar arch could be hinged in such a way that it could be dropped rearwards for additional clearance or would this be a structural issue?

Thanks Codger, and yes, on three models we have the radar arches hinged for the road transports and all can be hinged on request.

Yes Jannick, the second cabin is down to the left with a double bed. It is not the largest but OK for sleeping. Our concept is to have fast boats why the interior volume is a little limited, this one will top at between 40 and 50 knots depending on engines, with cruising speeds of 35 to 45 knots.

We have probably the lowest fuel consumption on the market which is a good thing these days.

We´ll see if this concept will go ahead, it would be nice to have a model built to start with...

Edit; perhaps we should all have RC-models in our own colors, Kevins in orange then...
Lars, send me a PM with some CAD files...we could supply scale models of all colous/versions!

Thanks Brian, but I will have no 3D-files of this boat until it is in production.

And Arnie, the show is running this whole week and I think the market here is still good. We are selling what we can produce anyway. As usual we are highlighting our speed versus fuel consumption, more important than ever these days and we have the best figures by far.

Here is one picture of our four and the coming fifth model. Next after the 33´ may be a 50-footer...
