Yet again, some minor changes to the 72m concept.

72m x3

I prefer to put similar designs next to each other, it makes it easier to follow the minor alterations.
I hope you don't mind me "wasting" thread space.

Thank You! I’m glad you like my work.

I must commend you and your exceptionally fine site. I’ve just recently started to look outside the Rendering thread and I’m very impressed to see the huge coverage of the Yachting world, just amazing!

/Mike

Yes you should Mike, YF isn't just about the rendering thread! By the way, have you seen Lar's (AMG) renderings?

It's hard to call something "too conventional" when the vast majority of yachts being built are just that... conventional. Sure, we all notice the ground-breaking designs (which eventually everyone copies and they subsequently become "conventional") but I would have to say the majority of designs that go into production are the conventional ones.

Kevin, I agree and I think there’s still a lot of designing to be done within the “conventional” segment.

Some very practical looking designs that can be easily built today. I see you cannot seem to loose the grip on the slightly backward raking glass on the forward superstructures. It is so reminiscent of "Carinthia VII".

I understand the advantages with a less raked window in the terms of sea spray, sun glare and cleaning but on this particular design concept I preferred the raked one.

About Carinthia VII, I stated earlier:
-"I find Tim Heywood’s design appealing with the slanting aft part of the hull and I guess the blue colour adds to the similarity of “Carinthia VII” and not so much when in white".

The 25m up scaled and bow slightly raked.

Love this classical touch, a little "Leander G" with some "Jamaica Bay"...
