Rossi Navi 176' "South"
Rossi Navi Shipyard have presented the launching of their highly advertised 54M charter luxury megayacht. This vessel represents the third yacht that Rossi Navi have completed and personifies the commitment involved in her build. This 176 foot yacht is named
South and will go on the charter market.
South has been built from high tensile steel for the hull and marine grade aluminum for the superstructure. Previously under the build number of FR19, she appeared on a reputable charter and broker website suggesting an immediate charter stint.
The 54M South has a modern interior that has been formulated by the use of a palette of colours and textures. The interior has been fashioned by Officina Italiana Design. "The interiors design has been very much accurate, in way that the careful choice of the outfitting materials and of the pieces of furniture do perfectly integrate with the simple forms and the natural colours."

Accommodation wise, the South will play host to 12 guests in 6 double and twin cabins. All cabins have ensuite baths and sophisticated entertainment A/v capabilities. The Master Stateroom is located on the Main-Deck as well as a VIP suite.
One notable difference is that she has one propeller. Connected to this 5-bladed propeller will be 2 X CAT 3516 marine engines rated at 2200 BHP each. This powerpackage will enable her to attain a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.
South will have ocean going qualities as her fuel capacity suggests. Onboard, 140,000 LT of fuel can be stored. On the other hand, 19,000 LT of fresh water can be stored as well. South weighs approximately 600 tonnes and at economical speeds will have a range in excess of 4,000 NM.
Her classification is as follows, (R.N.D) - R.I.N.A "Charter Yachts" Classe *100 A1.1 Y *- *"C*HULL*MACH Ych (ITA) Unrestricted Navigation. South is an ideal vessel for the charter market, having been designed for that purpose.
