New Shakespeare Sat-Antenna...

POPULAR SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA UPGRADED...

The tradition of providing better products is alive and well at Shakespeare. The Galaxy SRA-30 satellite radio antenna is now available packaged with a pedestal mount kit. The new offering becomes the Shakespeare Galaxy SRA-40.

The SRA-40 receives and amplifies satellite radio signals, like its little brother, the SRA-30. It boasts the same unique low profile and small size. With a height of just 1.36” and diameter of 3.5”, it weighs less than 1 lb. The 6" cable with built-in connecter is ready to attach to the included 25' coax cable.

Mounting options go beyond the SM-31 pedestal. Any flat surface up to 1" thick can also be used. The cable can be routed either through a hole drilled through the mounting surface, or through one of three cable knockouts in the mounting flange. The Galaxy SRA-40 can also be mounted on an extension mast or rail-mount.

In determining the mounting location for the SRA-40, having a clear view of the horizon is more important than antenna height. To locate the best open spot with a clear view of the sky, Shakespeare includes a simple-but-clever satellite shooter template. Other location considerations include accessibility underneath the unit and whether the area is clear of other wires. For best performance, the coaxial cable should be run as far as possible from other electrical cables.

The housing of the Galaxy SRA-40 is UV-stabilized, white plastic that promises years of reliable and good-looking service. A one year warranty applies. Optional 35', 50' and 90' cable kits are also available. Suggested retail price of the Shakespeare Galaxy SRA-40 satellite radio antenna, including pedestal mount, is $109.95.
