On March 11th 2006, Heesen Yachts launched the fifth yacht in the successful 3700 Series... “Buka”, a 121’ semi displacement, aluminum hull and superstructure megayacht. Powered by with 16V4000 engines, Buka is expected to reach 32 knots. Built to ABS classification with exterior and interior styling by Omega Architects, “Buka” was built for a client from Spain and was christened by a Catholic priest during a celebration at the shipyard.
The interior is styled in a combination of a warm colored semi-gloss maple with rattan and bird’s eye maple accent. The furnishings and upholstery are in natural tints, with off white ceilings and warm colors used for the beads and headboards. he marbles used in the bathrooms are in soft beige or light brown colors with furniture in semi-gloss maple. The salon and dining give a spacious feeling and the breakfast room, located in front of the dining room, gives the boat a perfect area to start the day. The forward deck contains the owner’s stateroom and bathroom. The lower deck is equipped with two double guest cabins and one twin guest cabin, that can be converted into a cabin for three people. The main galley, with seperate crew access, is also located on the lower deck.
