ISA 120: BEST DESIGN AWARD at SEATEC 2006...
After the great response of the market, important architects, industrial designers, managers of important shipyards, design critics, editors of well-known nautical magazines have applauded ISA 120’s innovative design.
This prestigious recognition occurred this February 2, 2006 in Carrara during the most recent exhibition of SEATEC, the international exhibition of technologies and subcontracting for boat and ship builders,.
The Millennium Yacht Design Award (M.Y.D.A.) jury awarded the most innovative sailing and motor boats, in the category “motor yachts over 24 meters” the prize to ISA 120 for her revolutionary design.
Large external spaces, typical of an open yacht, two parallel flights of stairs connecting the stern bathing platform and the sun deck, ISA’s family feeling, and other style aspects make ISA 120 both an innovative and aggressive boat with a strong personality.
The presentation on the stage was made to Marcello Maggi, who also accepted the award on behalf of ISA, Andrea Vallicelli and Cristiano Gatto, stylist and interior designer respectively, and Wim Koersvelt, the surveyor of two ISA120 units under construction at the yard in Ancona, who expressed enthusiastic words on the yard and the project.
