Delivered: Icon 62-meter "Icon"

Icon delivers first 62-meter mega yacht

Icon Yachts has delivered the first and much anticipated 62-meter yacht, bearing the name plate "Icon". The vessel launched and delivered in time to appear and make her debut to the world at the recently concluded 19th Monaco Yacht Show (MYS).

The Icon was designed Redman Whiteley Dixon (RWD) and has an interior that was formulated by Studio Linse with project management by Falcon Rydell. Now that Icon has delivered their first vessel, attention now turns to other yachts in their build and development portfolios.

Second on the list is to be the successor of the Benetti "Midlandia" (now "Quantum of Solace"). The Midlandia will be a 62-meter as well is in advanced stage of construction. The third yacht is also of 62-meter length and is dubbed Project "Florida".

The interior of the first Icon 62 is on the lighter side of earth toned featuring light-toned woods and fabrics. Like most interiors the styling of the interior is left devised by the designer in collaboration with the owner. "Final selection of timbers, finishes and fabrics are up to an individual client and his interior designer. Still an Icon yacht is as custom as a client will wish."
