Oceanco at the 2009 Monaco Yacht Show

Oceanco is pleased to announce their presence at the 2009 Monaco Yacht Show taking place from September 23rd to the 26th at Port Hercules in the Principality of Monaco, where they will be presenting a total of six scale models at a new two-level stand now located at QT7 on the T Jetty.

In the spotlight will be the scale model of their latest yacht under construction, the Igor Lobanov-designed Y708. Based on three main elements - motion, elegance, and privacy - the design of Y708 delivers in full. Dramatically sculpted surfaces convey motion, while the dynamic silhouette imparts elegance. Lastly, the design of each deck is done in such a way as to maximize privacy and offer guests private balconies to enjoy the view, apart from others on board.

Measuring 85.6 meters long, with a beam of 14.2 meters, Y708 will be powered by 2 MTU 20V 4000 M73L diesels - each producing 4830 hp - enabling her to cruise at a speed of 20 knots.

In addition to the Y708, Oceanco will unveil three 110m projects, two of which will be displayed as scale models at the stand. These two 110m projects; one designed by Nuvolari & Lenard (pictured here) and the other designed by Sam Sorgiovanni respectively (pictured below) are new ventures for Oceanco.

Other scale models to be featured during the Monaco Yacht Show include those of the 86m Y706 designed by Nuvolari & Lenard and scheduled for delivery in 2010, the 87m Sam Sorgiovanni-designed Y707 to be delivered in 2011, as well as the 90m PA076 in-house design. In addition, Oceanco will showcase a full range of 60m, 80m, 90m and 110m projects.
