"Pherousa" is a 67.37-meter twin-screw motor yacht under construction at Nereids Shipyards. This is the same builder that brought you motor yachts such as the "Arethusa" and "Azteca". Now they are endeavoring in constructing their largest motor yacht to date, the 67.37-meter
Pherousa.
This sleek design was penned by Design Investment Sārl with Naval Architecture by Soyaslan Design Office. She is the culmination of exterior design elements found in past modern Nereids motor yachts. The vessel's overall appearance is strong and aggressive with her bold angles. No ovoid exterior features are present on the
Pherousa.
The materials used in the construction include a hull fashioned from high-grade steel and a superstructure formed from composites. At her widest point,
Pherousa stretches to nearly 40-feet, sure to provide spacious interior spaces.
Accommodations on
Pherousa will be arranged in a number of staterooms and cabins. Present onboard will be 9 X Crew and a Captain's cabin. For guests, there is a spacious owner's stateroom featuring EnSuite bathroom, dressing room and private study. There is a VIP suite featuring EnSuite bathroom and dressing room. 4 X guest cabins provide EnSuite facilities whilst 2 X double and 2 X twin guest cabins abound.
On the technical end of
Pherousa, 2 X CAT 3512 C engines will push her to a maximum speed of 16 knots. At her 13 knot cruising speed, she can attain over 8,300 NM. Throttle back further at 10 knots continuously and she can travel some 12,300 NM thanks to her 224,000 LT fuel supply.
Pherousa will carry a small armada of tenders and toys. The main vessel of the tender fleet will be a 6.15-meter
Chris Craft Speedster. 2 X 2.5 tonne tenders can be accommodated in the bow and another tender in the Port side Garage. Waverunners and other watersports toys are available in the port side garage.
Pherousa-as her name dictates, "the one who carries" - takes the mantle for modern and transcending design in the style that Nereids have become known for.
