MondoMarine launches 49.00-meter "Streamline II"
Italian yacht builder MondoMarine recently launched their last yacht for the summer. She is the 49.00-meter "Streamline II", successor to the "Streamline".
Streamline II has lines penned by Cor D. Rover and Naval Architecture by MondoMarine. The interior stylist is in house designer Luca Dini.
The new 470 ton luxury yacht will be able to reach a maximum speed of 16 knots and cruising at 14 knots. 2 X CAT 3512B engines provide the power to attain these speeds. Throttle back to a continuous 12 knots and
Streamline II will sail over 4,000 NM.
She has an overall beam of 9.50-meters and a maximum draft of 2.58-meters. Interior space has been a major consideration and optimum usage of this space was paramount. Below decks, crew and guest accommodation are evident.
The Lower-Deck consists of three-main sections, the main tender garage in the aft, the engine room and guest and crew accommodation. The guest accommodation is separated into 3 or 5 double bed cabins depending on the needed configuration. The crews are to be put up into 4 double cabins.
The master stateroom is located forward on the main deck. The master is fitted with a large bed centrally placed on the forward bulkhead. The remaining space in the room plan is taken up by sporadically placed chairs and furniture.
Streamline II follows a number of launches for MondoMarine in 2009. "Alexander Two" and "Toy A" have both been successfully launched. At the present moment MondoMarine has yachts in-build up to 2011.
