Shadow Cat

The Shadow Cat design by an england based design company is 58 Meter long and is based on a 80 Meter concept for the U.S. Navy and should have a speed of 30 knots.

The Shadow Cat can transport three 15 Meter tenders, severally cars, a submarine and a lot of Jet skis. On the Sundeck can tranported an Helicopter. (Or whatever

).

I don't know wether I am to allowed to say it (Posting rules of links etc.) but I do it...hope it's okay: The design company is Bjorn Johansson Design and BMT Nigel Gee. A first owner notified interest.

I don't know it's in build or not.

I found this 62´Spiro trawler for sale. Instead of building a shadow vessel, they have made an extension with a garage for a small car. Pretty unusual..?

I think there is. It allows you to have a smaller 'main' yacht that can go into most harbours but still have a whole host of toys at your disposal.

There's also the benefit of added safety (always having a spare yacht around in case one has problems) , security in numbers etc..

Thanks Renderholic. If these do get the green light, it would be interesting to see how they compete with the likes of Shadow Marine and YES if they are at all.
