    I like it. If the hull has enough deadrise and the boat is built with lightweight materials, it might be capable of reaching speeds close to those of Ermis.

    The idea is not speed, but economy and range. With a single engine of 200-300 hp the top speed is around 20 knots, cruising between 10 and 16, and at 8 knots the range is estimated to be transatlantic. (It is not my design, it is made inhouse at http://boats.anytec.se )
