employment - junior stewardess

Hello,

I am new to this industry and I am about to become a Junior stewardess. I am in my early twenties and I am in the process of completing the STCW 95 and also an ENG 1.

I used to be a flight attendant and I am now focusing on a yachting career.
I am in the process of looking for a job.

If anyone can help, that would be much appreciated.
If you request a photo, CV or other documentation, then I would be more than happy to provide it.

Thanks.

There are two posts : "Does crew appearance matter" and "Help find employment" which gives a wealth of information as well as many others on this forum.

STCW, ENG1, register with all the crew agents and take them a professionally typed out resume, make sure you look the part, go visit the crew agents, go to networking parties, walk the docks.....and keep doing all of this until you get a job.

I am sure your experience as hostess before will greatly help you.

Good luck!!

Doc, She said "flight attendant" not "hostess" (In these parts, unless she's in a restaurant, a hostess has a few more, ahem, diversified duties.)

I am not an Australian politician nor a NY governor so difficult to be politically correct all the time. But I am sure IF she was a ahem "hostess" it would help finding a job but I her previous position as a flight attendant would certainly count towards experience.
