We're leaving St. Maarten tomorrow for the Bay of Biscay, via Tenerife. Thanks to the marvels of modern technology, the Marine Traffic iPhone app will allow me to broadcast our position all the way across. RENA - Vessel's Details and Current Position - 1001489 - 538070323
So, here's hoping that Low coming off North America will stay to the north!

Hi,
Where in the BoB are you heading?
I am sure with your time in the NE USA you are used to big tides and currents , but if you aren't at least be aware of them.

Summer is such fun over here.
Are you headed to the Med afterwards?

Hello Ken
Have a safe trip.
Just to let you no I took a yacht up the canal yesterday and the owner has been using that app all the way from Florida. I tracked him all the way through the Erie Canal sysetm where ther are no AIS recievers.
He said only one thing to remember was to turn app off when you take your car out. His family followed his trip north.
