    Finally finished and live...

Nearly 40 images and 3000 words. Chuck had roughly 30 hours of writing into it and I have about 15 hours preparing, formatting, labelling and uploading images. After that, the editorial must be tweaked, proofed, indexed and assembled like a puzzle.

The features on YF are a bit more indepth than magazine reviews. I think this is important, because these builders deserve the coverage. Fortunately, we're not limited by pages or bandwidth... only time.

I hope you enjoy Vango! :)

    Hi, Carl.
Your feature on "Vango" is fascinating and thorough.
    Feels like I'm actually onboard.
    I specially like the galley.
Your hard work is much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Arnie

I find that's a point where the reviews here at YF really shine. It's not just a long description and 5 or 6 random pics in a layout... you really feel like you're being taken through the yacht on a guided tour. :)

Agreed, this review and the others that I have read really gets one involved with the Yacht, almost like being there, close and personal.
Stop doing that, your killing the Charter business.:)

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. :)

The walk-thru idea is the basis of our reviews. Not too long ago, a couple of marketing directors were a little "put-off" that we needed so many images. Now... they want to supply us with more. :D

I just saw Vango in Newport Harbor very recently, I love being able to see what's inside her!

    Thanks for the beautiful review!

Has anyone checked out the new Westport website? They have some good pictures of Vango along with some good ones of their other yachts.

    Interesting vessel.
'16 cylinder V-type MTU/DDC 16v4000 M-90s, four stroke diesels producing 3,650 hp each. They turn 5-1/2” propellers on HS stainless steel shafts with a remote down angle gearbox."

Just how many 5 and a half inch props are hooked up to this power plant?

    Whoops!

Sometimes I wonder... if my brains were dynamite, would I have enough to blow the dust off an ant?
