Completion of Wally 50M Hull Mould

February 29, 2008:Fano, Italy: According to Wally, the mould of their new 50M long deep water sailing yacht will be completed in the coming weeks. Up untill news release time, the word was that lamination and sanding of the mould was soon to be completed.

Following the lamination and sanding processes of the mould, the lamination of the halves of the actual to be hull will be initiated in the second week of of March. If every thing goes accordingly, the fusion of the hull should be completed by the end of June. Following this step will be the taking off of the mould or de-moulding as is the more appropriate terminology.
