Viking 60 - Bad Company Edition

Guys,

Just happen to catch the Bad Company Edition 60 Viking running South off Palm Beach on Saturday morning. This is the one that Capt Tom posted some pics of in the Miami Boat Show thread..

She was a little ways off, so I had to crop in on the image.

John,
Nice shots. Did you take them from the hotel?
I did a sea trial on a 60 Viking at Miami show and that baby hit 42 kts! Big speed for a big boat. The acceleration out of the hole was so fast that if I was holding onto an overhead bar my legs would have been flapping in the breeze.
Here's a shot as the captain took us into a hard turn...at 31.7 kts! (see bottom of monitor). She tracked true, no slipping and just cut into the sea. No bogging down on the engines either.

Nice pix, John and Tom.
It sure seems as though Viking is the top dawg in the speed department.

Thanks guys. Captured the shots from the beach at The Breakers.
Tom, it must be the same boat you had the sea trial on. Bet it was an awesome ride.

Many Carolina boats of the same LOA are faster with smaller engines that burn less fuel.
