Freshly splashed at the Avangard yard in Pula, Croatia, this 50M luxury displacement motoryacht is striking. Her brilliantly reflective flag blue hull beckons attention as she sits in the water for outfitting. This new yacht was apparently launched on the 30th of March 2008.

She is a Mulder Design in her naval architecture and has an interior design by Lazzarini and Pickering. The 50M yacht has been built at Avangard in Croatia, formerly known as HeliYachts. With an overall length of just under 50M she is a comfortable size for entertaining as the Mulder website states.

The Avangard yacht has an overall width of 31.5 feet, which will offer spacious decks to the user (s). She weighs in at a hefty 650 tonnes despite having a lighter aluminum superstructure. The steel hull has been outfitted with 2 X CAT 3215B marine engines, cranking 1,650 HP each.

These engines will push the 50M yacht to a maximum speed of 16 knots while a 14 knot cruising speed has been envisaged. A tremendous range of 8,000 NM at 12 knots can be achieved with nearly 26,500 GAL of fuel onboard. She has been classified to the following: Lloyd’s Register of Shipping
+100A1-SSC Yacht MonoG6, LMC.

Mulder Design gave a general brief description of the Avangard 50M motyacht and said, "This 50 mtr yacht a full displacement motoryacht, focused on outdoor entertainment. The yacht carries a 40 ft Sunseeker, a ski-boat, waterjets and wave runner. For transportation to the shore she carries a Eurocopter 130B4, which can be stored in a hangar on the wheelhouse deck."

yeah ... i'm not really sure if i can take this as a real 50m yacht ^^ helihangar, 40ft tender..

either there's something wrong with other 50m yachts or this one is a double hull ^^

Guys, I was wondering all those things to myself as well. I was also wondering how comes she is stated as having a draught of 19.1 feet? That seems quite deep for a 50M yacht.

There is a misprint. I just checked the website. Max. Draught 11.65 Ft. Now that makes a whole lot more sense. They don't show the Min. Draught, but leave off the helicopter, 40' Sunseeker, etc. and I'll guess a normal 9 ft. or so.
