122 foot Mary P

It is reported by Vrmm that the newbuild Mary P has been christened at the NewOrleans Trinity facility? Mary P is a 122 foot long luxury sportsfisher-cruiser underconstruction by Trinity Yachts. Here is the editorial that Carl did a while ago:

Mary P's Splash

March 21, 2008:TrinityYachts New Orleans facility: Trinity Yachts LLC has announced the launch and the christening of their 122 foot sportsfisher, the Mary P. She represents the first hull to be launched from the New Orleans facility since the mid-2006 re-opening of the said facility in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Mary P is a significant launch not only for the yard but also in the yachting scene. She is one of the first large Sportsfisher luxury yachts to be launched in very recent time. With a length of 122 feet and a beam of 24 feet, she is a relatively large yacht for her type.

With the re-opening of the New Orleans facility, the future is brighter for Trinity. They already have achieved significant gains in the superyacht industry being the largest builder of custom superyachts in America and they are the third largest in the world.

The following quote simply illustrates that Trinity does not intend to slowdown soon even "in a time of economic uncertainty elsewhere, Trinity knows no boundaries and continues to add to its nearly 4 year orderbook and enhance its reputation by delivering the finest custom superyachts in the world."
