Al Suwaiket Group (KSA) and Trinity Yachts (USA) form partnership


Earlier this year, the Al Suwaiket Group and Trinity Yachts formed a partnership. For more on this, see below.

Al Suwaiket Group (KSA) and Trinity Yachts (USA) announced the formation of a partnership at the 2009 Dubai International Boat show. Their Joint venture shall be based in Dubai under the name of International Yacht Collection Middle East. It will cover the GCC, Middle East and North African countries. The Dubai based company will use experienced professionals to offer it's clients the entire range of yachting services: new construction, yacht management, repairs, brokerage, charter management, retail charter, and crew placement.

Al Suwaiket Group is a leading diversified business group based in Saudi Arabia working in different fields of activities such as oil & gas, metal & process equipment fabrication, design, construction, food, catering services, meat & vegetable processing, agriculture, furniture, real estate, education, finance, travel & tourism.

"The GCC is an emerging market that will become increasingly important for mega-yachts as evidenced by the increase in marina berths and facilities for mega-yachts" said John Dane, President and CEO of Trinity Yachts.

"Discerning clients, seeking yachts whether for charter or as owners, require that a First Class Experience be available and that can only come from experienced yacht managements Companies such as IYC", commented Sh. Mubarak Al Suwaiket, President and Chairman of Al Suwaiket group.

Trinity Yachts operates 2 modern shipyards: one in New Orleans, Louisiana and one in Gulfport, Mississippi capable of building custom superyachts up to over 100 metres. Trinity is ranked by "Showboats International" magazine as the "Number One builder of custom yachts in the world according to linear feet under production". Trinity currently has 19 yachts under contract, 6 of which are being built for repeat clients. Trinity will deliver a 50 meter yacht to Dubai in the 3rd quarter of 2009 with an additional two mega-yachts scheduled for delivery within 20 months to Dubai as well.

"Destination Fox Harb'r Too" open house

The 2008 Trinity Yachts build "Destination Fox Harb'r Too" is having an open house October 14, 2009. This will take place between the hours 16:00 to 19:30 at the Derektor yard in FL. The new vessel is also for sale asking 29.5-Million USD.

On the eve of the 50th edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), there is news that the 54-meter "Katharine" has had a price reduction in her asking price. She was asking 29.9-Million USD now is asking 28.9-Million USD.

The 2002 Trinity "Carpe Diem" has been given a price reduction in her brokerage price. She was asking 23.9-Million USD but is now asking 21.5-Million USD. You can view the 2006-refitted vessel at the FLIBS, starting tomorrow at the Bimini Yard.

Trinity's "My Iris" has been given a price reduction to her asking price. The 46-meter yacht which was built in 2003 by the United States builder, is now asking 19.95-Million USD down from 22-Million USD.

The Trinity "Lady Michelle" was launched in 2007. The near 50-meter yacht is asking 12-Million USD.

News about "Blind Date II".

The IYC is now offering 4 weeks of guaranteed chartering to the new owner who buys the "Blind Date II". The 2009-built yacht by Trinity is currently on the market asking 36.25-Million USD.
