I have just put my new RIB in the water to see where the waterline and boot-top will be and have already collected a good deal of green snot on the rear part of the tubes that sit in the water.

Anyone know of a product that repels these rascals from the tubes?

You can try vinegar with some success. The problem is, it washes off and you're back to square one.

It's been a year and I'm pretty happy.

I used to use Desitin (the stuff for diaper rash) it goes on thicck and lasts for quite a while. Works like a charm and won't damage the tubes
