Would like to know if there is a registry of yatch names and the owners (personal/corporate) of those boats? Looking to inquire about a particular boat and would like to write to the owner.

The only thing I can think of is Power & Motor Yacht Magazine who every year does a listing of the 100 largest yachts in the U.S. It has all of the vessel names and usually a little blurb on the owner. If the boat has state registration numbers, or if you can get the HID, there are alot of companies that will sell you the information you are looking for. If the boat is registered in Florida I can point you in the right direction.

I beleive the only way to find an owner of a yacht is the boats registry number.
