This was removed from my boat when Formula Yacht Spars butchered my rig, can anyone please identify what it is? Can it be used or does it have any value?

Obviously a satalite dome, my guess would be satnav. Is there anything inside or any #'s? In any case, given how long most electronics is considered current I'd say it may have value as an interesting lawn ornament.

Hi,

I agree with AMG but having been on two ships with Magnavox Satcom A I say I do not recall the big fin arrangement.

Either way if you remove the v band clamp and look inside there should be some sort of model and or serial numbers somewhere there ( with Magnavox sometimes on a silver sticker on the stub mast inside).
