Extension of USB and PS/2 cables

As the maximum permitted lenght of a PC USB cable is about 5m, could anyone advise me how could I extent usb and PS/2 (keyboard and mouse connection) cables to 15m?

Would it cause problems to use a bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse?

KVM switch or a repeater.

Can I ask the configuration / why you need to go 15m to perhaps better understand a solution? Wireless?

These work. Used them for firewire but they also have them for USB.

As these keyboards will be cased-in the Flybridge and Wheel House I have decided for aesthetical reasons Stainless Steel keyboards with trackball model KV1211 of Jenlogix. But apart of this I didn't find a nice looking wireless keyboard

Regarding the KVM devices, I have used them on our last Yacht and they were very unstable. Thus I dont want to use them on the Server which runs the ECDIS
