MarineAir or Climma chiller systems

I wondered if anybody has experience working with Marine Air or Climma chiller systems, good or bad.

Reliability, noise, service, control systems....

Any feedback is welcome.

What sort of system are you talking about - chilled water or individual units for cabins? Also what size? Marine Air are generally very good on the reliability front. The largest system I've ever installed of theirs was 45000 BTU split between 3 compressors with VFDs all round and from what I hear there's been no problems since.

Well, this is a little bigger; about 350.000-400.000 btu. Chilled water. About 22 airhandlers + fresh air handler.

Their website only shows 3 very small fresh air units for instance and info on their "new" networked control system is very scant.

Ah, hoped you weren't going to say that. To be fair the experience I have with that size is limited to Heinen and Hopmann and unfortunately in all three instance it was the networking that caused the problem - mechanically/electrically all good but communications had their issues. But of course thats a different make.

Can't help thinking that the details are scarce because they're still designing it - not that I'm cynical of course.
