Where can I get a decent size flag staff?

Subject line says it all, where can I get a decent size flag staff? The one from my boat is lost and any I've seen for sale have been really small and skinny.

Thanks again,

Joe

Why don´t you make one? It must be an easy way of saving a few cents... or pennies...

Don't believe all you hear about Scotsmen, we're not that tight!

I'd rather buy one if I can find a decent one. I did once find a website with some really good ones but didn't save it. Doing a search on Google was useless.

I just checked with the shop next door and their tallest flagpole is 1,5 m, made in teak and priced at €50 incl VAT of 25%. So the saving isn´t that big...

Thanks for checking. It wasn't so much the length although something around 6 foot would be ideal. The probelm was the diameter, I can't remember the exact size of the base on my boat but the ones I've seen recently have all been pretty slim.

I'll check the diameter next time I'm down at the boat.

Try Lewis Marine

The 2005 catalog, p.904, FIG 8720, shows a 72" teak flagpole, 1 1/4" base, for about $90 US.
