Jep, I can see them here in Bremen everyday, those cargo vessels with a beauty of a VLCC. But they can't go even from Weser to Elbe by crossing just 20 nm of coast near waters. She has to look good if entering IYCA.
I think I have to specify my question.
When I remember correct, there is a hydraulic foremast on the Oceancos Constellation to have a better looking yacht or what ever. This is what I want, but not for the foremast, but for the main mast and parts of the sundeck construction. What about MCA Rules? Will they node and then call the people with the white coats or will they don't have a problem with lowering the main communication systems to pass bridges or looks? Anything on safty rules? Even the systems: Will they work during the process when they are lowered?
The other part of my question was to find out how high one deck or the examples I mentioned above are. I am lousy in guessing dimensions on photos. Is Utopia more 20 or 25 m high, or just 16? What height does a designer plans in for each deck, what for the top mast?
For me max dimension have to be:
l - 75,00 m (minimum about 70,00 m)
h - 16,00 m (inclusiv all antennas and top lights)
w - 11,10 m
d - 2,80 m
She should have three decks (or what ever to have space for owner-, 2 VIP- and 3 guest cabin, plus the normal lounges and extras) and has to cross the atlantic two times a year. Does a yacht with 2,80 draught will have seaworthyness problems in bad wheather in the atlantic or even on a normal crossing?
Aditional question: Will an automatic positioning system work on rivers too?
